On November 11th 2000, the First Class Hotel Gendarm was reopened in a new building at one of the most beautiful squares of Europe, the "Gendarmenmarkt" in Berlin. You can choose from 21 comfortable double rooms as well as 6 suites / service apartments. Our hotel is known for its quiet location in the center of Berlin. It is furnished in an English Empire style, has modern bathrooms and very good communication equipment. For your relaxation our small lobby bar, where we also serve little snacks, as well as our sauna, solarium and fitness room are at your disposal.

Location
The Hotel Gendarm is located at the Gendarmenmarkt, close to the underground station Stadtmitte. The hotel is situated in the Charlottenstrasse at the corner of Mohrenstrasse, facing the Hilton and next to the "Confiserie Fassbender und Rausch". The Charlottenstrasse is running parallel to the Friedrichstrasse. The Check-Point-Charly, the comic opera and the national opera are each just 5 minutes away. The Brandenburg Gate, the Pergamon museum, the museum of German history as well as the Berlin cathedral are approximately 10 minutes away.
