In 1872 when the Düsseldorf zoo was opened, nobody thought that more than l30 years later a hotel and gardens would stand on the same ground. However, after the closure of the zoo in l945, the peaceful space it left was retained and today Hotel Haus Am Zoo stands on the same ground radiating a tranquil, relaxing and friendly atmosphere. Hotel Haus am Zoo is a modern hotel with 22 well furnished single or double rooms 2 suites. The Hotel is only a short journey from the main tourist and recreational attractions such as the Grafenberger forest with its extensive game enclosure and the Kosaido and Paragon golf courses are just a few minutes away.

Hotel Haus am Zoo is a modern hotel with 22 well furnished single or double rooms 2 suites some of which have balconies overlooking the delightful gardens. Each has an en-suite bathroom, TV, Telephone, Laptop connection point and some are equipped with a minibar. 5 rooms are located in a separate charming guest house.

Wellness and leisure
The Hotel boasts a sauna and a l5 metre Swimming Pool set in the beautiful garden surrounds to enable our guests to ease away the stresses of their day.

Location
The Hotel's location is ideal for either the business or leisure traveller being 5-10 minutes drive to the City Centre and the Dusseldorf Fair and only a short distance from the Airport. A tram stop is just l50m from the hotel giving you the opportunity to explore all the Dusseldorf has to offer.
