The former manor between Bad Hersfeld and Eisenach is a first class country hotel. Since 1990 Hohenhaus is a member of the international hotel cooperation Relais & Châteaux. The Hohenhaus cuisine has been awarded with the Michelin Star for the first time in 1995.

Rooms
The hotel Hohenhaus offers 26 rooms. Each room has been arranged individually and features selected antiques and authentic kilims. Guests either have a view on the Rotbuchental or in the Lindenhof.

Wellness and leisure
Experience the pleasant effects of water while visiting our swimming pool. The basin, which is 12 x 6m big and 1.40m deep, has a countercurrent system and a comfortable water temperature of 28 degrees. We also highly recommend our Finnish sauna. After an extensive sweating bath you can relax on our magnificent lawn for sunbathing, where stress and life’s hectic pace will vanish into thin air.

Location
In the heart of Waldhessen, between Bad Hersfeld and Eisenach, lies the hotel Hohenhaus. The park-like estate, founded as a manor in the 16th century, is surrounded by 1680 hectares of private wood- and grassland.
