Rooms
A personal and hand written welcome greeting, home-made chilli truffles from our chef-patissière, daily fresh fruit in your room and of course your favourite newspaper. We want you to feel completely welcome in our hotel. In this point we feel obligated to a completely traditional service thought. In contrast we are new-fashioned concerning modern communication technology. Beside Flat screen TV and CD/DVD player in all rooms W-LAN has been introduced. We particularly attach importance to a cultivated breakfast. Therefore we serve the most important meal of the day to you preferably à la carte and willingly in several courses.

Wellness and leisure
At Hugenpoet Manor our guests have the choice between ayurvedic massages and acupuncture for stress relief and mental relaxation. Our therapist Petra Kuhn combines a practically orientated orthodox medicine apprenticeship with special training in acupuncture and ayurvedic medicine. She offers our guests an ayurvedic marmapoint-oil-treatment to activate your self-healing powers, classical acupuncture to reduce blockades and full body and foot reflexology massages for supreme relaxation.

Location
It lies in the midst of its own idyllic castle park and in the delightful scenery of the Ruhr meadows. Where in earlier times the „Hugen“(= toads) were sitting in their „poet“(= puddle) and waiting to perhaps become, the frog king. This name tradition is maintained in the castle hotel Hugenpoet with a wink.
