Gasthaus zur Sonne
The Gasthof zur Sonne is a traditional, family-run guesthouse situated approximately 7 kilometres north of Freiburg. It is cosily furnished and offers comfortably equipped guest rooms.

Rooms
The guest rooms are cosily furnished with shower and TV. Some rooms are also fitted with their own WC. Extra beds are available at a cost of EUR 5 per day. Breakfast can be brought to your room on request. Non-smoking rooms are available.

Wellness and leisure
The beauty of the Black Forest can be discovered via numerous cycle paths and hiking trails. To the East, you can explore the Dreisam Valley in the Southern Black Forest Nature Park; to the West you can enjoy the plains of the Rhine valley, where the wine regions of Tuniberg and Kaiserstuhl invite you to go hiking. The Schlossberg mountain in Lorettoberg is also well worth a visit.

Location
The surroundings offer a variety of day trip destinations and recreational activities. You can, for example, visit the Mundenhof animal enclosure in Freiburg or the Eugen Keidel baths with their own thermal spring.
