Individualists who are seeking much more than the pure functionality of a hotel bed. 141 rooms, lofts and suites, a variably equipped conference area, a restaurant, a bar and a spacious wellness area as well as 60 parking lots in front of the hotel and 20 underground parking lots for free fully satisfy these demands in the former coal warehouse of a Hamburg gasworks. Dining in an elegant atmosphere: The Da Caio Restaurant enjoys the reputation as one of the best Italian restaurants in town. The range features daily-fresh and constantly new specialties, as well as an excellently compiled wine menu, all of which are sure to delight expert gastronomes. The restaurant offers space for 85 people. The winter garden seats an additional 100 people. Open from Monday to Friday, 12.00 p.m. to 3.00 p.m. and 6.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays from 6.00 p.m. to 11.00 p.m. Dinner, with a daily selection of different meals between € 8 and € 15 is an offer that attracts more than hotel guests alone.

Generous one-room suites in industrial design with red brick walls and view of the Otto-von-Bahren-Park. 40 m² with double bed, DVD and stereo system, walk-in wardrobe and desk. Large bathroom with bathtub, separate shower and toilet. Large two to three room suites in modern design. Around 90 m² with double bed, DVD and stereo system, large flat screen, walk-in wardrobe and desk. Large bathroom with bathtub, separate shower and toilet. Some rooms with roof terrace.

Wellness and leisure
Our wellness area is an Asian inspired relaxing zone with sauna and steam bath, with beauty service and massage also available on request. It’s the ideal place to find peace and relaxation after a long day, to rejuvenate, or to simply lay back and be pampered.

The Gastwerk Hotel Hamburg is just six kilometres away from Hamburg City and is situated in the midst of the ‘Forum Altes Gaswerk’, a listed property with a large park and gym. And just a few minutes away from the centre of Ottensen with its many restaurants, pubs, galleries and boutiques, as well as cinemas in the Zeisehallen. The strategically convenient location in relation to the A7 (exit: Bahrenfeld) guarantees uncomplicated access to the airport.
