The hotel "Im Wiesengrund" moor exists since 1964 in Weesen, a dreamy district on Hermann's castle in the southern Lüneburger. Helga and Wilhelm Hiestermann opened a small beer bar with 25 seats. During the years 25 guest-rooms, 2 restaurant rooms and conference rooms were grown and extended constantly and modernised. The current company orders more than a total of 150 seats and 25 terrace places. We offer a non-smoker space with unobstructed look at the meadows which gave the name to the hotel.

Of our rooms are furnished tastefully with TV, phone, YOU / WC and hairdrier.

Wellness and leisure
With pleasure we are there with tips to the leisure activities for you, how would it be, e.g., with a boat trip on a moor river or a Kutschfahrt in the romantic Lüneburger a moor? On the moor river Örtze it lets also hook well. We discuss you with pleasure. (only with valid hinge light) destinations are nearby, e.g.: Fair city of Hannover (60 km), Celle (30 km), Luneburg (60 km), the moor park Soltau (40 km) or the bird's park Walsrode (60 km), the Kartbahn in Bispingen or Celle, or also the 100-water railway station in Uelzen (50 km).
