We have completely renovated and upgraded all the rooms and our junior-suite on the 4th floor in November, 2006. Starting this year our guests will enjoy the air-conditioned new rooms during the hot summer seasons.A lift and rooms for the disabled are as much a part of the hotel's offer, as well as non-smoking roomsThe in-house restaurant offers regional specialities as well as international dishes. A rich breakfast buffet is included in our offer as well.

All of our 39 comfortable rooms combine tradition an modern contemporary spirit. The rooms are equipped with direct dial telephone, TV-set and radio, safety boxes (for depositing your laptop as well), hairdryer, minibar and shower/bathroom.

Wellness and leisure
The market square, where the town hall and old Church of the Holy Spirit ("Heiliggeistkirche") are situated, as well as the university, the congress hall and the theatre nearby, can all be reached within a few walking minutes. The Hauptstraße, the pedestrian area of Heidelberg, is around the corner where you can shop easily or enjoy the lovely cafes and student inns as you walk along.

Location
Our hotel, with its unique view of the Neckar River and the Philosopher's Walk ("Philosophenweg") is located in the middle of the historical old city centre, directly opposite the Old Bridge.
