The Fährhaus am Stausee is enchantingly situated in an idyllic spot right on the Mosel in Metternich, in a part of Koblenz called the „Eulenland“. Since 1974, it has been in family hands, owned by Karl-Heinz and Birgit Konieczny. “Tradition, informal management and a stylish ambience are values fostered by us. We do not leave anything to chance when we are dealing with our customers` well-being.”

Rooms
All rooms have shower or bath, WC, satellite TV, telephone, radio, desk, Internet access and a fax connection - and some of them have a balcony. The bathrooms are bright and generous, equipped with hairdryer and cosmetic mirror. We wish you a peaceful night and a successful start to the next day. Wellness and leisure
The restaurant, which is cosy and has been decorated with much care, is where you will be spoiled by the chef Markus Konieczny, who, along with his young team, prepares some unusual regional and international meals, depending on what is in season. Lamb, venison and fish specialities will make any gourmet`s heart beat faster. Let`s not forget to mention the wine-cellar that is well-filled with individually selected wines from the best wine-growing areas. The restaurant is closed on monday´s.
