Wellness and leisure
Aachen, 83 kilometres from the hotel, is home to a spectacular cathedral erected on the orders of Charlemagne in 786 AD, and now housing his remains. The oldest of its kind in Northern Europe and boasting an extensive treasury, the cathedral was one of the first buildings to be declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1978.
