Our hotel is an idyllic park setting with an old chestnut tree grove, located in the middle of the little town of Markranstädt with quick access to Leipzig, known as a city with lots of culture and business conventions as well as numerous events. Experience Belantis amusement park with its 5 different themes within 8 km from our hotel. The "Ancient Egypt" theme comes to life with palms, sand and a 30 meter high pyramid. The Leipzig zoo with its world's largest ape park "Pongoland" is one of the most popular, most biodiversified and oldest zoos in Germany. The recreation area around Kulkwitzer lake has a size of approximately 4000 hektar. Clear view to a depth of 10 meters and fantastic flora and fauna attract tens of thousends of divers every year. South seas at Leipzig: Cospuden with its 4 square kilometer lake is a leisure paradise for nature lovers and pleasure seekers. The one kilometer beach offers bars, boat rentals and beach volleyball. Every Friday in summer time a beach movie theater is available at sunset.
