Welcome to the
Hotel Schlossgut Oberambach.
The Oberambach Court was first ever mentioned in 1476. It changed ownership among others from Schäftlarn Monastery to Bernried Monastery, it was extended several times by various aristocratic owners and under Baron von Kleydorff it developed into a meeting place of divers artists, writers and free-thinkers.A special tip is the new Schlosslounge, which is located on the ground floor, as well as our new conservatory, both of which belong to our restaurant. In the year 1991 the property changes hands, becoming the property of the Schwabe family. The alterations, conversions and redevelopment measures which have since taken place were carried out with the greatest of consideration and respect for the organic building context and relations and the environmental tolerance of all materials used. There is no smoking in the whole hotel.

Rooms
Feel at home in one of our 40 exclusive non-smoker rooms, most of them decorated in mediterranean style. So that you can take a really deep breath and regenerate from the stresses of everyday life, we have decorated and furnished our rooms each with its own individual style in accordance with the highest ecological standards. Our house guests can use our Internet access and W-LAN free of charge. The same applies to the sauna, the steam bath, bikes, private access to the lake and more than 150 acres of park, forests, meadows, a swimming pool and almost endless untouched Nature.

Wellness and leisure
You are here in order to feel good and regenerate your energy and spirit. Warm up in our sauna with its steam bath. Dive into our idyllic outdoor natural swimming pool and enjoy the sound of its waterfall and the peaceful surroundings. If you prefer, you can swim in the lake which is only 7 minutes on foot with private access. Regenerate on the shores of beautiful Starnberg Lake on the grassy banks of the castle`s own private property.
