Berggasthof Hotel Igelwirt.
For more than one hundred years the "Igelwirt" (Hedgehock Inn) is situated on the top of a hill called the Schloßberg (Palace Hill) surrounded by a beautiful forrest. High above Osternohe and its picturesque valley our hotel guarantees tranquillity and a wonderful view. Recommended by the ADAC, a well-known german automobile club, our house is a place where vacationists from the nearby cities Nuremberg, Fürth and Erlangen as well as tourists from all over Germany are relaxing. This is because of our excellent local cooking, where we only use the fresh ingredients of our region, but also include your individual wishes. Every monday our restaurant is closed. We offer: our traditional "Schlachtschüsselessen" every second Wednesday, international fish specialities in February, asparagus in season, fresh chanterelles in summer months and game specialities in November. Our quiet and vehicle-free area includes marked hiking trails and footpaths which are alltogether 60 km long. In winter a cross-country trail and a close ski lift (the longest ski run of Mittelfranken) open up ideal sports activities. Even in summer you've got varied possibilities in our area, for example the nearby Franconian Wonderland (holiday park). Our hotel rooms with rustic furniture reflect the comfort and style of our house. We have rooms with bathroom/shower, toilet, TV , telephone, Wlan Internet for Free, Internet (analog/digital) and fax connection.
