Karl Georg Wolf – entrepreneur of the former coal mine – employed Munich`s architect Prof. Emanual von Seidl to build the palace for his family. The builing measures lasted only from 1911 to 1912. Schloss Wolfsbrunn, which is built in the style of Art Nouveau and carefully restored in 1998, was opened by the Leonhardt brothers as a 5 stars hotel in the wooded countryside of the ore mountains in 1999.
